Donation Items for Homeless Shelter Lunch Packing Event

Hello Shaw Families!

Our final Shaw Shares event for the school year is happening soon!! On Monday, April 27th from 3:00pm - 4:00pm, we will be packing lunches for a local homeless shelter. Our goal is to prepare 450 packed lunches, and we need your help with donations to make this effort a success!

Donation Items Needed (HERE is an example of the items listed below with photos that can be found at Walmart and Sam’s Club):
- paper lunch bags
- wheat bread
- thick cut bologna (each sandwich must have 2 oz of meat)
- sandwich cheese slices
- individual mayonnaise and mustard packets
- individually wrapped string cheese
- individual bags of chips
- individual bag of chocolate chip cookies
- water bottles
- fruit cups

Important Details:

Drop-off Deadline: All donated items must be brought to school by Friday, April 27th. All items will be inventoried on Friday, April 24th.
Packing Event Date: Monday, April 27th from 3:00pm to 4:00pm in the Shaw Elementary cafeteria. Please click HERE to sign up to attend the event.
